UPSC on Wednesday announced that a decision on the fresh dates for the remaining Civil Services 2019 Personality Tests will be taken after May 3. The second phase of the nation-wide lockdown is expected to end on that date. UPSC came to this decision after a special meeting on Wednesday.
The Commission held a special meeting to review the situation arising out of the Coronavirus pandemic. After the meeting, the UPSC said that the dates for the Civil Services-2020 (Prelim), Engineering Services (Main) and the Geologist Services (Main) Examinations had already been announced and any rescheduling in these examinations would be notified on the website.
According to UPSC, the exams for Combined Medical Examination, the Indian Economic Service Examination and the Indian Statistical Services Examination 2020 have all been deferred. The new dates for these examinations will appear on the UPSC website once decided.
The premier central recruiting agency further said that the National Defence Academy (NDA-I) Examination had been postponed and a decision on NDA–II Examination would be posted on June 10. It said that any other decision of the Commission in respect of examinations and interviews would be made available on the official website.

അതു കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ എത്രയും വേഗം പരീക്ഷാ നടപടികളുമായി മുന്നോട്ട് പോകുമെന്നും യു.പി.എസ്.സി അറിയിച്ചു. ബുധനാഴ്ച നടന്ന പ്രത്യേക യോഗത്തിന് ശേഷമാണ് യുപിഎസ്സി ഈ തീരുമാനത്തിലെത്തിയത്.
ലോക്ക്ഡൗൺ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുന്നതിന് മുൻപ് തന്നെ , സിവിൽ സർവീസസ്, എൻജിനീയറിങ് സർവീസസ്, ജിയോളജിസ്റ്റ് സർവീസസ് തസ്തികകളിലേക്കുള്ള പരീക്ഷാ തീയതികൾ ഇതിനകം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും ഈ പരീക്ഷകളിൽ എന്തെങ്കിലും പുനഃക്രമീകരണം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ വെബ്‌സൈറ്റിൽ അറിയിക്കുമെന്നും യോഗത്തിന് ശേഷം യുപിഎസ്സി അറിയിച്ചു.
നാഷണൽ ഡിഫൻസ് അക്കാദമി (എൻ‌ഡി‌എ -1) പരീക്ഷ നീട്ടിവെച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും എൻ‌ഡി‌എ- II പരീക്ഷയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള തീരുമാനം ജൂൺ 10 ന് പോസ്റ്റുചെയ്യുമെന്നും പ്രീമിയർ സെൻട്രൽ റിക്രൂട്ടിംഗ് ഏജൻസി അറിയിച്ചു.
ലോക്ക്ഡൗണിനെത്തുടർന്ന് കമ്പൈൻഡ് മെഡിക്കൽ സർവീസസ്, ഇന്ത്യൻ എക്കണോമിക് സർവീസസ്, ഇന്ത്യൻ സ്റ്റാറ്റിസ്റ്റിക്കൽ സർവീസസ്, തുടങ്ങിയ പരീക്ഷകളാണ് യു.പി.എസ്.സി മാറ്റിവെച്ചത്.
