Coronavirus In India till 31st March (10:30 AM): Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. The Coronavirus outbreak has been declared as a Pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). On 24th March 2020, Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 21 day nationwide lockdown as a measure to control the growth of coronavirus. People are requested to avoid unnecessary public gathering and are advised to stay at home.

As per the latest data available over 785,000+ cases have been reported and more than 37,000 deaths have been reported. 165,000 patients have also been reported to recover from this disease that has caused a global health emergency.

Out of the total 1,251 cases reported, Kerela has the most number of cases with 202 confirmed cases, Maharashtra has 198 confirmed cases.Delhi has 87 confirmed cases while Uttar Pradesh has 82 cases.
