Kerala PSC LP UP Assistant notification 2019 is out for high school assistant arabic, l.p. school assistant, high school assistant natural science, high school assistant mathematics, high school assistant sanskrit, part time high school assistant with 3, 11, 1, 6, 2, and 1 vacancies respectively. Apply at thulasi.psc.kerala.gov.in by 15 Jan 2020.
Kerala Public Service Commission recently released the extra ordinary gazette date 11/12/2019 with a new set of notifications for various posts. The one that has caught the most attention is the LP UP notification.
In the latest gazette there are 6 notifications for LP UP assistants
They are High School Assistant (Arabic) (By Transfer) – Education (323/2019),
L.P. School Assistant (Kannada Medium) (By transfer) – Education (324/2019),
High School Assistant (Natural Science) (Kannada Medium) – Education (Ist NCA) (368/2019),
High School Assistant (Mathematics) (Malayalam Medium) – Education (Ist NCA) (369-372/2019),
High School Assistant (Sanskrit) – Education (Ist NCA) (373-374/2019),
Part Time High School Assistant (Arabic) – Education (IInd NCA) (382/2019).
Category 323/2019 contains 1 vacancy in Palakkad and 2 in Malappuram.
Category 368/2019 has 1 Kasaragod muslim vacancy.
Then category 369/2019, 370/2019, 371/2019, 372/2019 respectively contain 2 vacancies of Palakkad SCCC, 2 Kasaragod LC/AI vacancies, 1 Kasaragod Hindu Nadar vacancy, 1 Kasaragod ST vacancy.
In category 373/2019 and 374/2019 are respectively 1 Kasaragod SC and 1 Kasaragod Muslim vacancies.
Category 382/2019 has 1 Palakkad vacancy. Then in category 324/2019 there are 11 vacancies of Kasaragod.
Except the posts where recruitment is by transfer, the direct recruitment posts are open for candidates aged 18 to 43 years old.
For those posts, it is necessary to have cleared the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET).
Candidates with a degree in concerned subject, B.Ed / BT in concerned subject can apply for cat 368/2019. Those with bachelors degree in mathematics or statistics as main subject, and B.Ed / BT in concerned subject can go for cat 369-372/2019.
Job seekers with either a degree in sanskrit and BEd / BT / LT, or a title of oriental learning in sanskrit and certificate in language teachers training can apply for cat 373-374/2019.
Those with either a degree in arabic or a degree with arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of part III and BEd / BT / LT, or a title of oriental learning in arabic and certificate in language teachers training can apply for cat 382/2019.
That being said, qualifiers of CTET, NET, SET, M.Phil, Ph.D, M.Ed. in respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET.
The scale of pay for part time high school assistant arabic will be Rs 19,000 – Rs 43,600. It will be Rs 25,200 – Rs 54,000 for LP school assistant kannada medium. For high school assistant arabic, high school assistant natural science, high school assistant mathematics, high school assistant sanskrit, the pay scale will be Rs 29,200 – Rs 62,400.
Kerala PSC has already started accepting applications against the advertised posts since December 11, 2019. The last date to apply is January 15, 2020. Whereas the detailed notifications are at keralapsc.gov.in, applications have to be filled through the Thulasi portal thulasi.psc.kerala.gov.in.
The commission also informs, ” If written /OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, candidates shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile. Such candidates alone can generate and download the Admission Tickets in the last 15 days till the date of Test. The applications of candidates who do not submit confirmation within the stipulated period, will be rejected absolutely. The periods regarding the submission of confirmation and the availability of Admission Tickets will be published in the Examination Calender itself. Information in this regard will be given to the candidates in their respective profiles and in the mobile phone numbers registered in it.
