Kerala Public Service Commission, KPSC has postponed all examination, interviews and physical tests amid Coronavirus outbreak till April 14, 2020. Along with this, all departmental examinations that were scheduled to be conducted till March 31, 2020 has also been postponed by the Commission.
The nation has been gripped by novel Coronavirus and the places of collective gathering like colleges, schools, exam halls, canteens etc are most likely to remain closed as a precautionary move. Seeing this many recruitment exams conducting authorities are giving second thoughts to the conduction of exams in such health scaring environment.
UPPSC BEO Exam is one such exam which is to be conducted on March 22. The admit cards have been released on March 11, 2020, but now the students have raised a plea to the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission to reschedule the exam as Coronavirus has spread to various cities of the state. According to the sources, the commission is giving this a thought and is deciding upon the issue. However, no official statement has so far been released by the commission regarding the conduct or rescheduling of the exam. As the admit cards have been released the exam may not be rescheduled.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police Recruitment Exam for the posts of Police Constables in 02 Border Battalions has been postponed due to coronavirus outbreak. The Physical Endurance Test, Physical Standard Test, PET/PST that was to be conducted between March 14 to March 21 is hereby postponed by the Government and separate dates will be announced by the authorities.
HSSC has also recently released a notification stating the cancellation of UDC, Assistant Linemen and instructor exams. The exams were to be conducted between March 15, 2020, to March 18, 2020. The exams have been cancelled due to Coronavirus. The exams had earlier been rescheduled for these dates and now have been pushed ahead due to Coronavirus scare. Separate dates will be released once the Staff Selection Commission decides the rescheduled dates. The notification will be available on the official website.
The Maharashtra Public Service Commission, MPSC has decided to postpone all the exams for this month due to Coronavirus threat across the country. Document Verification, Service Verification and the direct distribution of appointment memo has been stopped till March 20. The dictation tests for Reporter Grade (2) Malayalam and Confidential Assistant Grade (2), and the OMR test of Police Constable (IRB) scheduled in March 2020 have been postponed, the commission said in a statement.
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) scheduled to be held for the recruitment of Forest Driver, Civil Excise Officer (NCA-SCCC in Ernakulam district), Female Constable and Female Constable (NCA community) has also been postponed. However, the interviews which were scheduled earlier will go on as per the schedule and candidates who are not able to appear for the interview due to the COVID 19 outbreak will be given another chance, the commission also said.

The Department level online examination, which was scheduled for March 11, will now be held on April 5, it said in the statement.

“However, the interviews which were scheduled earlier will go on as per the schedule and candidates who are not able to appear for the interview due to the COVID 19 outbreak will be given another chance,” the Kerala PSC statement said.
