Educational Qualification:

Matriculation or equivalent and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics and Telecommunication (Radio/ Power) Engineering approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) with 60% in aggregate.

Eligibility

Height: Minimum Height 157 cms
Chest: Minimum Expansion 5 cms.
Weight: Proportionate to height & age +10% acceptable
Visual Standards: 6/24 without glasses & 6/9 & 6/12 with glasses for Better Eye & Worse Eye respectively

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

(i)	1.6 Km run to be completed in7 minutes.
(ii)	20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak).
(iii)	10 Push ups.

Selection Process:

Stage -I

(a) Shortlisting of Applications. Short listing criteria will be based on higher percentage of marks in the qualifying examination and the qualifying cut off for a particular centre may be increased more than 55% if more applications with higher % are received.

(b) Preliminary Selection. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Preliminary Selection at given date and time which will consist of Mental Ability Test/ Cognitive Aptitude Test and Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP & DT). The aptitude test will be in English only and will be objective type.

Stage –II.

Final Selection:
The candidates who qualify Preliminary Selection will be called for Final Selection. The date and venue for Final Selection Board (FSB) will be uploaded on Indian Coast Guard website www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in. The Final Selection will consist of Psychological Test, Group Task and Interview (Personality test). All documents/ certificates verified during PSB are also required to be produced in originals during FSB.

Pay Scale :

On joining Indian Coast Guard, you will be placed in Basic pay Rs. 29200/- (Pay Level-5). In addition, you will be paid Yantrik pay @ Rs. 6200/- (7th pay commission implementation) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the regulation enforced time to time.

ii.	Candidates are required to have Valid Email Id & Mobile No as Important Details like Registration No. & Password will be sent to this Email Id or Mobile No.
iii.	Candidates should have 10th, 12th, Graduation Mark sheets to fill Online Application Correctly.
iv.	Scanned Copy of Recent Photography & Signature (In Prescribed Size)
v.	Link for Online Application & Fee Payment will be available till Last Date
vi.	Candidates need to take Print out of Filled Application Form for future Reference
vii.	All the candidates before submission application fee check all the entry fill in the form is corrected because after fee submission under any circumstances fee should not be refundable.
