Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 2020
Candidates withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from NDA, IMA, OTA or any other Service Training Academy are NOT eligible to apply.

A candidate must either be: | |
(i) | A citizen of India, or |
(ii) | A subject of Bhutan, or |
(iii) | A subject of Nepal, or |
(iv) | Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st of January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India |
(v) | A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya. Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India |
(vi) | Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India |
Age Limit as on 01-07-2020
- Minimum: 19 Years
- Maximum: 25 Years
- Candidates born between born not earlier than 02-07-1995 and not later than 01-07-2001, both dates inclusive.
Educational Qualification
- For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders
- A Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent with 50% of marks in all the years.
- Served for a minimum of 3 academic years in the senior Division/Wing of NCC.
- Should obtain a minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC
- For Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel
- A Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent with 50% of marks in all the years.
- Should submit – Battle Casualty certificate, MP Dte / Respective Regimental Records, Relationship Certificate.

Selection Procedure
The Applications are shortlisted based on the Eligibility criteria. The shortlisted candidates will receive an e-mail regarding the Selection Centre. The candidate will go through two selection stage.

- Medical Examination
The candidates who clear Stage I will be selected for Stage II Interview. For Medical Examination, Standards and Producers for Officers Entry into Army are applicable.
