Delhi Police Head Constable recruitment 2019 notification has been officially published in leading dailies now. The recruitment is for a total of 554 vacancies. Online application form will be available at delhipolice.nic.in from October 14, 2019. The last date to apply will be November 13, 2019.
There were a lot of rumors last month about this recruitment. Until now, all the notifications were seen in social media. However this time, newspapers in print have published the notification and it is official.
Head Constable post is eligible for pay matrix level 4, which means the pay scale is Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100. The vacancy is for males as well as female govt job aspirants.
The number of vacancies are 372 for males, and 182 for females. Vacancies for general, EWS, OBC, SC, ST respectively among males are 140, 37, 86, 56, 53. For females the respective vacancies are 69 for UR, 18 for EWS, 42 for OBC, 27 for SC, and 26 for ST.
As per the government of India norms, 10% vacancies are reserved for ex-servicemen also. In addition, 3% are reserved for PWD candidates.
Like in all government jobs, age limit and educational qualifications play an important role. For the Delhi Police Head Constable recruitment 2019, age limit as on 01.07.2019 is 18 to 25 years for UR and EWS. It is relaxed for reserved categories. The age limit for them is 28 for OBC, 30 for SC and ST, 35 for PWD-UR/EWS, 38 for PWD-OBC, 40 for PWD-SC/ST.

Professional requirement is that one should have 30 wpm english typing speed, or 25 wpm hindi typing speed.
Only online application form will be released for Delhi Police recruitment 2019 of Head Constable. It can be filled at delhipolice.nic.in in the given time duration. The application fee would be Rs 100, to be paid online. SC, ST, Ex-S, PWD, and women candidates are exempted from fee payment.
Other than the short notification available at present, detailed notification will be published on the date of commencement of registrations. Also, detailed notification will be published in employment news, rozgar samachar of 12.10.2019 date. It will contain details of category wise vacancies, eligibility conditions, how to apply, terms and conditions, details of computer based exam, physical endurance and measurement test.
